‘Smallest County Fair’ To Raise Donations For Salvation Army
News Release
WARSAW — The Kosciusko County Historical Society will be hosting the “Carnival of Sharing” exhibit at the Old Jail Museum from Wednesday, Nov. 20, through Saturday, Nov. 23.
The event is being held in conjunction with The Salvation Army of Warsaw to raise money for the church’s annual Christmas drive.
During the event, the museum will have on display “Indiana’s Smallest County Fair” — a precision scale model of a typical Midwestern county fair, featuring grandstand attractions, food vendors, livestock barns and one of the most elaborate operating scale midways in the United States. The display represents more than 13 scale acres and features more than 2,000 hand-painted figures all in precision HO scale.
As part of the event, the museum will be collecting donations, all of which will go toward The Salvation Army’s Christmas fund.
Hours for the exhibit are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, through Friday, Nov. 22, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23. The museum is located at 121 N. Indiana St. in downtown Warsaw.
