Jessie Lee Rose Sr., 72, Columbia City, died at 1:10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25, 2024, at home.

He was born July 2, 1952. His wife of 49 years, Margaret “Maggie” Rose, survives.

He also is survived by children, Samantha (Paul) Coburn, South Whitley, and Jessie (Christi) Rose Jr., Pierceton; six grandchildren; siblings, William “Pete” Lay, Fort Myers, Fla., Patricia Phipps, Taylors, S.C., Loretta Santaiti, North Beach, Md., and Mary Elizabeth “Liz” Oakman and John Rose Sr., both of Fort Wayne; and sisters-in-law, Marti (Jim) Steele, Columbia City, and Patricia Hefley, Indianapolis.
