Florida Man Arrested In Kosciusko County For Domestic Battery, Intimidation

WARSAW — A Florida man was recently arrested for allegedly battering and threatening a woman.
Ty Wayne Brown, 63, Lakeland, Fla., is charged with domestic battery resulting in moderate bodily injury and possession of methamphetamine, both level 6 felonies; and intimidation and domestic battery, both class A misdemeanors.
On Nov. 20, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office deputies received a report about a man attempting to break into a woman’s bedroom. Deputies responded and learned the man, later identified as Brown, had a warrant for his arrest.
According to court documents, officers went to the woman’s residence and located Brown in a bedroom. In the room, officers saw a mirror with meth residue. Brown admitted to using meth earlier in the day.
The woman said Brown attempted to force his way into her room and told her he would do things to her that she couldn’t even imagine. Deputies noticed the woman had scratches on her right arm and a bruise on her left arm.
Brown was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Nov. 20.
