WARSAW — The holidays are a time to connect, create and celebrate, and Warsaw Community Public Library has something for everyone this December.
Kick off the month with a special performance by the Still Standing Duo at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3. This talented pair will share holiday songs from around the world, including beloved favorites for all ages. Saturday, Dec. 7, is Santa Day. He’ll be stopping by from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for photos, cookies and a card-making activity to spread holiday cheer. And for kids looking to share a story with our furry friends, the Greyt Readers will visit from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 14.
Teens can join the Read Between the Lines Book Club at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4. Whether teens are looking to discover their next great read or share thoughts with friends, this book club offers a cozy, creative space to connect. As the month winds down, teens will want to take advantage of the chance to make do-it-yourself hot cocoa bombs at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27. Registration is required for this free event.
For adults, the library is hosting several unique opportunities to relax, create and celebrate. At 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, a Greek Tea invites participants to savor the food, drink and culture of Greece in a delightful tea setting. Registration is required for this free event. Those looking to get crafty can attend the Ornament Painting for Adults from 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, to decorate a wooden ornament to take home. For game lovers, Christmas Games for Adults at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, will offer a variety of fun and festive challenges, while card players can enjoy a casual afternoon of euchre from 2:30-4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10.
