Ride For Heartline Coming In July
Preparations for Kosciusko County 6th Annual fundraiser for Heartline Pregnancy Center are underway for the July 19 event.
Registration for the Russ Spangle Ride For Life begins at 9 a.m. the Saturday, July 19, ride and blessing of bikes begins at 11 a.m. The cost is $20 per rider and $30 for double riders. This includes a BBQ meal when the ride ends.
Non-riders can come out and support Heartline by purchasing the best BBQ meal around or participating in the silent auction. Hand-crafted items like a quilt, Harley Davidson stool, corn hole board and gift certificates will be available for bid.
This motorcycle ride starts at New Life Christian Church and travels for 40 miles then makes a quick stop at Wawasee Community Bible Church. It then continues on for another 40 miles. Imagine the look on the faces of all the citizens as almost 100 police escorted motorcycles rumble through multiple communities last July.
Spectators may have seen the bikes as they rolled through Pierceton, North Webster, Warsaw, Milford, Syracuse, Silver Lake and other communities. Crowds of supporters were in attendance and cheered on the bikers as they ended the ride back at New Life Christian Church.
The Russ Spangle’s Ride for Life sponsors the Heartline Pregnancy Center of Warsaw. Heartline offers free pregnancy testing for all women, regardless of income, race or religion and help women by providing education and resources throughout their pregnancy.
The ride raised $3,500 for Heartline Pregnancy Center last year.
