Coats For Kids Golf Outing Set
Coats for Kids, the philanthropic outreach project of the Builders Association Kosciusko Fulton Counties Community Outreach Golf Outing, has been scheduled.
The Builders Association Coats for Kids Community Outreach Golf Outing is held once a year to raise the funds required to purchase the coats for the elementary school children in Kosciusko and Fulton counties.
This year, the outing will be held on Tuesday, June 24, at Rozella Ford. Registration and lunch are at 11:30 a.m. Tee time is 12:30 p.m. Golfer and team registrations are welcomed at www.bakfc.com under events.
Teams are $315 for a foursome and includes mulligans, ribbons and cart. Individual golfers are $85.
Each year, every elementary school in Kosciusko and Fulton counties are asked to provide a list of those children in need of a new winter coat. (We only request age, size and gender). Through sponsorships and the golf outing, the funds are raised to provide approximately $10,000 worth of brand new coats to children who are attending school in need of a new coat. Sponsorships are needed at the event level $500; gold level $325; silver level $250; and bronze level $175. Anyone interested in helping to keep children warm this winter, please email [email protected].
Since this project was started, the Builders Association Kosciusko Fulton Counties members have purchased and delivered over 5,500 coats to the 17 elementary schools in Kosciusko and Fulton Counties. Since 1996, the Builders Association members have donated and supported this cause, providing over $119,600 to make this project possible. We extend our sincere appreciation to all of those that help us keep this worthwhile project going.
