BOURBON – A handful of players from the Triton softball team have earned All-Conference honors.

Honored as first-team selections to the All-Northern State Conference team are the quartet of seniors Mallorie Jennings (pitcher) and Allyson Brown (catcher) and juniors Krystal Sellers (infielder) and Hannah Jennings (outfielder).

Selected as an honorable mention choice to the All-NSC team was junior Halie Zimmerman (outfielder).

The five have helped the Class 1-A No. 10 Trojans to a historic season. Triton is 23-6, setting a program record for single-season wins. The Trojans also defeated No. 5 South Central 4-0 Tuesday night to win its first-ever regional championship.

Triton is scheduled to play No. 1 North Miami Saturday at approximately 1 p.m. in the second semifinal game of the Clinton Prairie Semistate.
