Ronald E. Neeley
Ronald E. Neeley, 73, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 1:35 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, at his home with his family by his side.
He was orn on Aug. 31, 1940, in Utica, Penn., to Hiram J. and Cora M. (Deets) Neeley. He graduated from Meadville High School with the of Class 1958 and attended Erie Commercial College for 2 years before moving to Marion, Ind. to attend Indiana Wesleyan for the next 3 years. On Aug. 17, 1963, Ronald married the love of his life and best friend, Jacqueline L. Magers in Marion.
In 1974 he and his family moved to the Warsaw area. He was the owner and president of New Beginnings Nutrition in Warsaw. He was a member of Warsaw Community Church, Friend of Bill W. and the 24 hour Club.
He is survived by his wife of over 50 years; children: Ronda J. (Steven) Holloway, Rochester, Ind.; Steve M. (Melanie) Neeley, Fort Wayne, Ind.; Mark A. (Bridget Swick) Neeley, Warsaw, Ind.; Jacqueline M. ‘Shelley’ (Gary) Kunkle, North Webster, Ind.; Christopher T. (Robin) Neeley, South Whitley, Ind.; sisters: Donna Meeks, Shipshewana, Ind.; Carol Bollinger, Valencia, Penn.; Ruth Hall, Indianapolis, Ind.; brother: Paul Neeley, Shipshewana; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: William, Fred, Dale, Elwood and Allen Neeley; sister: Georgia Hogg; and granddaughter: Audry N. Neeley.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, at DeMoney-Grimes, 600 Countryside Dr., Columbia City. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, at Warsaw Community Church, 1855 S. County Farm Rd., Warsaw with calling one hour prior. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Memorial donations may be made in Mr. Neeley’s memory to Warsaw Community Church or Riley Children’s Foundation.
