Randy Girod, Kosciusko County Republican Chariman, on behalf of the Kosciusko Republican Central Committee, announces the opening of the 2014 Kosciusko Republican Headquarters, at 112 N. Buffalo St., Warsaw.

The headquarters is in the epicenter of downtown Warsaw, located across the street from the Kosciusko Courthouse in the historic building that formerly housed Reader’s World. The hours (at least, for now) will be noon to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. The phone number is: (574) 267-8707.

A wide assortment of Republican yard signs, brochures, and political paraphernalia are available at the headquarters for distribution.

Volunteers are needed to assist in staffing the headquarters. Persons interested should contact Girod at (574) 333-7761 or by email at [email protected]

Here is a list of some of the upcoming Kosciusko Republican Party events:

Kosciusko Republican Fish Fry, Kosciusko Fairgrounds, Warsaw, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 1.

First Friday event, Kosciusko Republican Headquarters, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Oct. 3.

Kosciusko Republican Hall of Fame dinner, Champagne Jam, 2517 E. Center St., Warsaw, 7 p.m. Oct. 17, featuring keynote speaker Rep. Jackie Walorski. Cocktails will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Other events are still in the planning stage and will be announced when plans are definitive.
