Second Robbery Suspect Arrested
A second suspect has been arrested in the Sept. 12 robbery at Key Bank, North Webster.
Derek Michael Bruner, 24, Warsaw, has been arrested with preliminary charges of felony assisting a criminal, obstruction of justice and felony theft. He is being held at the county jail under a prosecutorial hold at this time.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Detectives arrested Zachary Springer, 28 Warsaw, Friday, Sept. 19, in connection to the robbery. (See related story)
Sheriff’s Department Captain Aaron Rovenstine stated the continued investigation into the bank robbery led county detectives to Bruner and the stolen bank currency. He also stated detectives and scene technicians have worked tirelessly on the investigation as the case has continued to progress.
The Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office advises the defendant’s charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
