UPDATE: Strong Storms Moving In
A severe thunderstorm moving through Warsaw is causing flooding on Center Street and has downed a tree in the 1600 block of East Market Street.
Warsaw Fire Department is on scene where a tree is blocking the street.
The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana said a strong thunderstorm moved through the area and is bringing gusty winds and some reports of scattered hail.
At 5:17 p.m., NWS Doppler Radar indicated the line of storms extending from Warsaw to 7 miles southwest of Plymouth and moving northeast at 30 mph. Pea-sized hail, winds to 50 mph and frequent cloud to ground lightning and heavy downpours are possible.
Locations in the path of these storms include Plymouth, Bremen, Nappanee, Syracuse, Bourbon, Milford, Monoquet, Inwood, Oswego, Clunette and Leesburg.
The severe thunderstorm warning is in effect until 7:30 p.m.
