Mary Lou Dirck
Mary Lou Dirck, 75 of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 10:17 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014, in Mason’s Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw.
On June 19, 1939, she was born in Huntington, Indiana to Arley and Opal (Harper) Sisk. She was united in marriage to Gene Dirck on Nov. 22, 1972, in Leesburg, Ind., who preceded her in death on Nov. 5, 2008.
A lifetime resident of Warsaw, Mary worked for Miller’s Merry Manor for many years. She also was a volunteer at the Senior Activity Center in Warsaw and a member of the Warsaw Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by two step sons: Steve (Carolyn) Dirck, Warsaw, and Douglas (Shannon) Dirck, Warsaw; her step daughter, Theresa (Bryan) Howe, Warsaw; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one brother.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Rev. Andy Weaver officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, in the funeral chapel.
