Lincoln And Claypool Teachers Partner For JA Fundraiser
By DANI BARKEY

Lincoln and Claypool Elementary teachers participated in Junior Achievement’s “Are You Ready for Some FootBOWL” Bowl-A-Thon on Nov. 1.
The Claypool team was sponsored by Symmetry Medical. Their combined efforts raised $405 to help Junior Achievement build successful futures for hundreds of local students.
This year more than 4,000 Warsaw, Tippecanoe Valley, Sacred Heart and Lakeland Christian students will receive hands-on experiences to help them understand entrepreneurship and financial literacy while preparing them for the work force. The fundraising event will help JA to provide learning opportunities for more students.
JA is still in need of volunteers to help meet the demand for their courses which teach skills like personal finance, career readiness and owning a business.
Junior Achievement is still working to fill over 100 classrooms with volunteers in the Warsaw/Tippy Valley area. For as little as an hour a week, volunteers can make a difference in the lives of young people in their community. The Junior Achievement experience will leave volunteers feeling proud, energized and hopeful about a better future for young people in our schools.
