14th Annual Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival Coming Soon
Stage 773 Creative Director Brian Posen is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated line-up for the 14th Annual Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival. Over the past 14 years, the Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival has garnered international attention, attracting over 10,000 patrons annually from around the world.
Jan. 8 through Jan. 18, audiences will enjoy the largest ever Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival – and the largest sketch comedy festival ever seen in America. The entire schedule for the 14th Annual Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival may be viewed at www.ChicagoSketchfest.com. Tickets go on sale Dec. 1.
The Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival debuted in January 2002, with 33 local Chicago Sketch Comedy groups gathering together to perform their craft. The event was met with overwhelming success, and has now grown to the largest sketch comedy festival in the nation.
All performances take place at Chicago’s home for the most innovative, creative and passionate off-Loop performing artists, Stage 773, located at 1225 W. Belmont Ave.
Tickets for the 14th Annual Chicago Sketch Festival are $15 and will go on sale at noon Monday, Dec. 1.
Tickets purchased before Dec. 31 receive a $2 discount and may be purchased at www.Stage773.com, by phone at (773) 327-5252, and in person at the Stage 773 box office.
This year, all performances will also be streamed live via Giggity.TV for a pay per view fee. Giggity.TV has been broadcasting live entertainment from various venues throughout the country for the past four years, and is now available in all four spaces at Stage 773.
