When you come out of that turkey coma after Thanksgiving, perhaps you’ll be looking to get out of the house for fun, local entertainment. Or maybe you’re looking to blow off some steam after a Black Friday shopping spree. Whatever the case, The Pier Bar at Oakwood Resort in Syracuse is serving up just what you’re looking for.

On Friday, Nov. 28, Big Love, aka Rob Emahiser, will take the stage in Syracuse. This one-man band will treat your ears to an eclectic mix of everything from Johnny Cash to Led Zepplin. Big Love plays from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

On Nov. 29, saxophonist Charles Cotton will perform from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at The Pier Bar. Cotton has been playing and recording for 40 years. He’s jammed alongside some of the biggest names in the music industry (and some of you may have seen him perform at the North Webster Cemetery Walk this summer). Cotton’s repertoire includes a variety of classic hits, including Kenny G, Michael Jackson, Etta James, Whitney Huston, Simon and Garfunkel and Christopher Cross.
