Peter Mishko Jr.
Peter Mishko Jr., 67, Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 1, 2014, at his residence.
He was born on April 29, 1947, in Derby, Connecticut to Peter Mishko, Sr. and Dorothy (Boisseau) Mishko. On June 10, 1989, he was married in Arizona to Rosemarie (Paquette) Mishko, who passed away on Feb. 7, 2013.
He was a resident of Kosciusko County for the past 10 years. He was a 1965 graduate of Seymour High School in Seymour, Conn. He attended electrical school, after which he enlisted in the US Navy in 1966 serving during the Vietnam Conflict until his honorable discharge in 1972. He worked at World Missionary Press in New Paris, Ind., and later as a painter at Grace Village Retirement Community in Winona Lake, Ind., until 2013.
He leaves behind his step-son: Christopher Riley, Lewisville, N.C.; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his wife.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 3 at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison, Ind. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw.
