Charles ‘Chuck’ Randall Eby
Charles ‘Chuck’ Randall Eby, 55, formerly of Syracuse, passed away on Jan. 5, 2015, at his home in Kimmell after a long battle with his health.
He was born on March 1, 1959, to Clarence and Frances Eby in Syracuse, and was a lifetime resident. He never married and had no children.
He served in the United States Marine Corps. He loved the outdoors. He always looked forward to camping and riding the Pine River in Michigan along with a large group of friends each year. He had been retired since 1997, when he first became ill, working for Commodore Homes, and LeMaster Steel Erectors. He loved to ride his Harley, and always had a big ole dog as his buddy, and will be laid to rest with his favorite companion Rusty.
He is survived by two sisters: Crystal Rogers, Cromwell; and Alice Deich, New Jersey; three brothers; Carl and Craig Eby, Kimmell; Curt Eby, Syracuse.
He was preceded by his parents and grandparents.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, at Eastlund Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, at Eastlund Funeral Home, with Pastor Harlan Steffen officiating. Burial will follow at the Syracuse cemetery with Military Honors.
Memorial contributions may be made to Eastlund Funeral Home to help the family with Chuck’s final expenses.
