UPDATE: Accident On Country Club Road In Warsaw
Janet M. Reuter, 65, East Steven Drive, Warsaw, suffered minor bleeding to the head and was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital for treatment. The accident occurred at 3:31 p.m. Saturday, on South Country Club Road and East Pink Magnolia Drive, Warsaw.
This was the second accident at that location, that day to have occurred by that time.
Reuter’s vehicle struck a patch of ice causing her to lose control of the vehicle , go off the road, hitting a utility pole. Reuter hit her head on the passenger side window as she was not wearing a seat belt.
Damage was estimated up to $25,000 to her 2007 Suzuki and the pole.
INITIAL: At 3:34 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, emergency personnel were called to Country Club Road Road near the intersection of Pink Magnolia Drive in Warsaw for a single-vehicle automobile accident.
The driver reportedly struck a pole and injuries have been reported.
The driver is being transported by Multi-Township EMS to an area hospital for injuries. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department and Warsaw Fire Department assisted at the scene.
As a reminder, some roads are still slick and icy. Those traveling should still exercise caution, especially on county roads.
