LCA Can’t Solve Argos
ARGOS – Another tough road lesson for the Lakeland Christian Academy boys basketball team. The Cougars ventured into Marshall County Tuesday night, only to find a solid Argos team waiting. As a result, the host Dragons pounded the Cougars 71-36.
A 19-5 burst in the first quarter by the Dragons was extended to a 39-22 lead at the break to which LCA could not recover.
Argos had four players in double figures, led by the 23 points from Javan Miller, scoring 17 of those before the half. Taylor O’Dell added 13 points and Cameron Andrews and Jordan Norris each finished with 10 points apiece for the Dragons, which move to 4-6 overall.
Jon Harmon led LCA (0-12) with 10 points and the trio of Josh McDaniel, Connor Blum and Carter Twombly each finished with six points.
LCA will look for its first win of the season next Tuesday in hosting Granger Christian.
