John ‘Bob’ R. Kowatch, 59, of Plymouth, passed away at 7:32 a.m., on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015, at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, in Plymouth.

Bob was born on Oct. 1, 1955, in South Bend, to John and Carol (Decker) Kowatch, Jr. He married the former Louellen Weiger on Feb. 14, 1977, Valentine’s Day, in Culver. Louellen preceded him in passing on Nov. 2, 2013. Bob was a folk lift driver and was employed in the Maintenance Department for the Plymouth Community School Corporation.

Bob is survived by his mother: Carol (Richard) Stoneburner, Plymouth; his daughter: Barbara Kowatch, Plymouth; his son: Mike Kowatch, South Bend; and his grandson: Jacob Kowatch, Plymouth.

The Van Gilder Funeral Home is caring for the Kowatch family. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
