Kasey Dawn LaRue
Kasey Dawn LaRue, 53, Warsaw, passed away 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015, in her Warsaw, home.
She was born on Sept. 24, 1961, Warsaw, to Douglas D. Kahler and Irene Rose (Riggens) Kahler. She attended Warsaw Community Schools.
Kasey was a lifetime Warsaw, resident and worked as a machine operator at Biomet for the past two years. She also had worked for Warsaw Orthopedic (now Medtronic) for 16 years. She loved the Lord; was dedicated to her work; known to crave chocolate; enjoyed working puzzles and fishing; loved her horse, Ajax, and her dogs, Tanner and Chopper; loved to write and enjoyed all kinds of music; she was the rock of her family and adored her grandchildren
She is survived by daughters: Amber (Ethan) Miller, South Whitley; Ellen LaRue, Claypool; one son: Garrett LaRue, Elwood, Pa.; nine grandchildren; three sisters: Lucinda L. Kahler, Warsaw; Ruth (David) Mast, Nappanee; Kristal (Greg) Prater, North Webster; brother: Douglas C. Kahler, Carbondale, Ill.; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a father: Douglas D. Kahler, March 10, 2005;
Mother: Irene Rose Kahler, Aug. 5, 2014.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw, IN 46580. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, at Titus Funeral Home. Pastor Norm Reimer, Nappanee Missionary Church, Nappanee, will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
