Arrest Made In Milford Meth Lab Investigation
An arrest has been made following a meth lab investigation at a residence in Milford.
Warsaw Police Narcotics and Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers arrested Richard Paul Lattea, 48, Milford, on preliminary charges of felony dealing methamphetamine.
On Jan. 14, police received an anonymous report that meth was being manufactured at 9265 North, Old State Road 15, Milford. Upon arrival, officers found the home to have been recently vacated. Officers of the Warsaw Police Narcotics Unit and the Kosciusko County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant and found a one-pot meth lab in the house.
Lattea left the residence prior to officers’ arrival. Thanks to information from concerned citizens, Lattea was located and arrested on Friday, Jan. 16. He is currently being held on a $7,500 bond.
Milford Police Department, Warsaw Police Department, Indiana State Police and the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department assisted on the investigation. The Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office advises that the defendant’s charge is merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
