Kauffman Earns Crossroads Player Of The Week
WINONA LAKE – Following a 2-0 week for the Lady Lancers, Grace senior Allison Kauffman was named the Crossroads League Player of the Week for the third time.
Kauffman notched two double-doubles in two games to lead Grace to its third-straight victory. Kauffman averaged 21.0 points and 13.0 rebounds per game for Grace. She racked up 23 points and 12 rebounds against Mt. Vernon Nazarene and followed that up with 19 points and 14 boards against Taylor.
She also hit 6-for-6 from the foul line against Mt. Vernon Nazarene, lending her hand in the Lady Lancers’ NAIA record-tying 28-for-28 free throw performance in the game.
Kauffman currently ranks No. 1 in the Crossroads League with 10 double-doubles, No. 2 with 9.2 rebounds per game and No. 3 with 19.1 points per game.
The Lady Lancers face a stiff test on Wednesday when they travel to Crossroads League-leading Indiana Wesleyan at 7 p.m.
