Purdue Agrees To Future Games With Wake Forest
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue and Wake Forest University have announced a home-and-home series in football.
The Boilermakers will play host to the Demon Deacons at Ross-Ade Stadium on Sept. 12, 2026, and travel to BB&T Field in Winston-Salem, N.C., for a game either Sept. 2 or Sept. 4, 2027.
BB&T Field has bleacher seating capacity of 31,500 plus several thousand more behind the end zones and features a FieldTurf playing surface.
Purdue and Wake Forest have met five times previously, with the Boilermakers holding a 4-1 advantage. The Boilermakers won the first three contests (28-27 in 1968, 26-17 in 1977 and 14-7 in 1978), all at home, before the Deacons won 24-21 in 2002 at Ross-Ade. Purdue was a 16-10 victor in 2003 in Winston-Salem.
