Honeywell Center Adds Charlie Daniels Band, 1964
Two new performances have been scheduled to take place at the Honeywell Center: The Charlie Daniels Band, and the #1 Beatles Show in the world, 1964 The Tribute. Tickets for both shows go on sale to the public at 8 a.m. Tues., Feb. 10.
100.5 WWKI welcomes Charlie Daniels as he makes his way back to the Honeywell Center to perform on the Ford Theater stage at 7:30 p.m. Fri., May 22. This Country music legend is sure to provide hand-clapping-toe-tapping entertainment with his fiery-hot fiddle playing. Charlie will perform his ever-popular “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” and multiple other songs he has written. Daniels has been active as a singer since the early 1950s.
Daniels was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry on Jan. 24, 2008, and the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum in 2009. Still a road warrior at age 76, Daniels has parlayed his passion for music into a multi-platinum career and a platform to support the military, underprivileged children and others in need. Tickets for The Charlie Daniels Band are $32, $44, $58 and $100.
