Pauline M. Lowry
Pauline M. Lowry, 99 of Warsaw, passed away at 10:34 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015, at Lake City Place, Warsaw. She was born on March 24, 1915, to Ernest and Hazel (Ellis) Shively in Palestine.
She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. She married Richard ‘Dick’ Lowry in 1943 in Claypool. He preceded her in death on Dec. 9, 1994.
She graduated from Claypool High School in 1933. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Warsaw, past home economics club. She worked for a period of time at Warsaw Insurance Agency as a secretary.
Pauline is survived by her daughters: Julie (Larry) Clingenpeel, Warsaw; JoAnne (Dave) Coplen, Marana, Ariz.; sisters: Irene Davis, Warsaw; Jeanette (Bill) Sadler, Warsaw; brothers: Don (Francis) Shivley, Claypool; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Viewing will be private. A graveside service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery Chapel at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, with Pastor Scott Carmer officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
The family is requesting that the memorial be made to The American Heart Association, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674.
