A 17-year-old driver complained of pain to the knee/lower leg/foot following a one-vehicle accident at 9:05 a.m. Saturday on South SR 15, north of West CR 550S, Claypool.

Mallory B. Daughenbaugh, 17, South Peru Road, Silver Lake, told police she had the cruise control on her vehicle set at 55 miles per hour when her vehicle hit a slick spot on the snow covered road. Deaughenbaugh lost control of her vehicle after it started to slide.

The vehicle went off the roadway and rolled at least twice before coming to rest on its wheels. Damage up to $10,000.

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, Claypool Fire Department and Multi-Township Central West are responding to a personal injury accident.

The accident is reported as being on SR 15 near CR 550S on the west side of the roadway.
