The Warsaw Community High School Band will host the Warsaw Winter Percussion Invitational from 2-7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 7.

The contest will feature 24 high school drum lines and percussion ensembles from Indiana and Illinois.

At 6:15 p.m., the WCHS Percussion Ensemble will perform their show, “Dance on a Volcano,” based on the music of the rock band, Genesis. Other participating schools from the area include North Manchester, Bishop Dwenger, Elkhart Memorial, Plymouth, Carroll, and Northwood.

Admission to Percussion Invitational is $6 for adults, $5 for senior citizens and college students (with college ID), and $3 for students in grades K-12. Children 6 and under are free. Spectators will be directed to park in the Performing Arts Center parking lot and enter the school through the PAC lobby. All proceeds benefit the Warsaw Band Boosters.
