The Honeywell Center announces concert tickets are now on sale for Tuxedo Junction scheduled to take place from 2-4 p.m. at Legacy Hall on Sunday, May 17 at the Honeywell Center. Enjoy the sounds of the big band era featuring vocalist Ellen Mock. Tickets are $5 per person.

Tuxedo Junction is known for its big band sounds of the swing era and is the only regional big band group that has continued to perform for the past 39 years. Musicians from Peru, Logansport, Lafayette and Wabash make up this eleven member group. Swing tunes, ballads, smooth jazz and vocal arrangements highlight the versatility of the band. A dance floor is available for those who wish to “cut a rug” to the music.

Tuxedo Junction will perform as part of the Honeywell Center’s “Senior Outreach Program” which is geared specifically for the seniors. The program provides fun and entertaining activities that are presented at senior living facilities in a five-county region including, Wabash, Miami, Huntington, Grant and Fulton counties. Since the inception of Senior Outreach, over 2,500 active seniors have participated.
