Warsaw Educator Participates In Certified Education Technology Leader Summit
As the use of technology in school districts evolves, Brad Hagg, Chief Technology Officer, participated in the Certified Education Technology Leader Summit to strengthen his technology leadership and communication skills. The CETL Summit was held March 18 to March 19 in Atlanta, Ga. following the 2015 CoSN Conference and provided networking and professional development opportunities exclusively to individuals holding the CETL designation.
Mr. Hagg obtained the CETL distinction after completing extensive training and demonstrating mastery of the knowledge and skills needed to foster modern learning environments. Brad was also selected as a 2013‐2014 “20 to Watch” Educator by The National School Boards Association.
“The CETL program is an essential part of technology leaders’ growth,” said Irene Spero, chief strategy officer for CoSN. “We are honored to have dedicated leaders such as Brad Hagg participate in the first CETL Summit as they work to develop the expertise needed to build transformative learning environments.”
The CETL Summit was facilitated by the education‐focused communications firm C. Blohm & Associates and Dennis Pierce of Pierce Publishing, and sponsored by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. The event focused on the new skills needed by district technology leaders, and included information on maximizing value externally and internally within the school district.
