Purdue Extension Elkhart Holds Alzheimer Education Program

Alzheimer’s is a brain disease that causes a slow decline in memory, thinking and reasoning skills. It is the eighth leading cause of death in the United States. There are 10 warning signs and symptoms of the disease that people may experience to a greater or lesser degree. Join us to learn more about the disease, the Alzheimer’s Association, and the resources that are available in our communities.
This free educational program is hosted by the Elkhart County Extension Homemakers and will be presented by Extension Eudcator Allison Goshorn from LaPorte County. This program s being offered at 1 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. Monday, April 13, at the Purdue Extension Elkhart County office, located on the Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds.
