Report Of Domestic Violence Leads To Mobile Meth Lab
Police officers responding to a report of domestic violence at a Plainfield, IN, Walmart discovered a mobile meth lab in the parking lot shortly after 6 p.m. last night.
A caller had contacted police regarding a man striking a woman in the parking lot at 2372 E. Main Street. The caller provided a description of the vehicle and its license plate number.
Police located the vehicle, occupied by Steven Bailey, 38, of Terre Haute. Upon investigation, a mobile meth lab was also determined to be in the vehicle. A warrant was secured for a thorough search. State police were then called to the scene to manage the lab.
Bailey was arrested and faces preliminary charges of domestic violence, possession of precursors and possession of methamphetamine.
