Arvel Ray Conley
Arvel Ray Conley, 55, Servia, died at 10 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2015, at his home.
He was born in Wabash to Arvel and Anna May (Nelson) Conley on Oct. 16, 1959.
He graduated from Manchester High School in 1978. He liked to sketch pictures and was an avid gardener. He was a memorabilia collector. Arvel also enjoyed carpentry and spending time with his family and close friends. He was a great father, mentor and uncle.
He is survived by a son, Dustin R. Conley, Servia; two step-sons, Seth Adkins and Shaun Adkins both of Ligonier; one grandson, Gavin William Hough, Syracuse; three brothers, Lori (Sherri) Conley, Servia, Jimmy (Lori) Conley, Liberty Mills and Vincent Conley, Servia; and three sisters, Barbara A. Conley, Servia, Peggy Kiern, Marion, and Brenda Conley, Servia.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Erin Rae Hough.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, April 17, at Free United Baptist Church, 7035 S. SR 13, Sidney, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday. Pastor Etsie Allen will officiate followed by burial at Fairview Cemetery, Servia.
