Area Police Reports
Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incidents:
- 2 a.m. Sunday, April 19, 4900 block East CR 1200N, Syracuse. Police were called to the location to a hit and run accident. Police were later informed who the suspect driver was and the case will be sent to the prosecutor’s office.
- 7:09 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 4200 block East CR 450N, Leesburg. Kimberly Kurlan reported invasion of privacy.
- 5:01 p.m. Friday, April 17, 10900 block South Packerton Road and East SR 14, Claypool. Stanley L. Enyeart Jr., reported damage to a windshield from a rock from a dump truck.
- 12:25 p.m. Friday, April 17, 6400 block East CR 800N, Syracuse. Gabriel B. Douglas purchased an item through Craig’s List and did not receive the item.
- 10:33 a.m. Thursday, April 16, 1700 block East CR 300S, Warsaw. Steven Dewayne Poe reported an attempted fraud via Craig’s List.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 2:52 a.m. Sunday, April 19, 800 block Carrington Boulevard, Warsaw. Dakoda G. Landis and Ashlee R. Smith reported an exterior door damaged during entry by an individual.
- 11:31 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 400 block East Center Street and North Hickory Street, Warsaw. Norfolk Southern Railroad reported a hit/skip accident with possible property damage.
- 10:53p.m. Friday, April 17, 600 block North Lake Street, Warsaw. Madeline J. Islas reported criminal recklessness and intimidation.
- 9:14 p.m. Friday, April 17, 600 block West CR 300N, Warsaw. Holly D. Hall reported her cell phone being stolen from TJ Maxx.
