Musical May: A Tune Of Success In Warsaw
Feet were tapping and dancing along to the tunes resonating throughout downtown Warsaw tonight as guests and musicians alike celebrated the annual Musical May First Friday.
The event, which was very well attended, offered a blend of spring, music and community for guests. A wide array of musical stylings were offered during the event including the Lakes Area Community Band alongside the Optimist Singers; the Warsaw Community High School Jazz and Pep Band; the Lakeland Community Choir; the Sock Monkeys; and a dance performance from Astound.
Smaller performances were scattered throughout the downtown including performances from United, a band fronted by Mike Beezley; Manium, WCHS Battle of the Band winner; dances by Deb Colliers and LeeAnn Stewart students; the Gary Gerard Group; and a bagpipe and accordion players.
