A small plane crashed into the back of a truck while attempting to make an emergency landing according to Indiana State Police just before noon today near the Huntington Municipal Airport at US 224 and SR 5, Huntington.

No major injuries have been reported. ISP is investigating. The intersection was closed to traffic for several hours, but has since re-opened.

Surveillance video from a nearby business, Bud’s Fishing Hole, and drone video taken by Doctors Lance Clark and Nathan Hartman of Huntington University show the impact of the plane into the truck and the debris afterward.
