Erik Scott Clark will celebrate his 70th birthday May 6 with a family party. He resides at Peabody Retirement Community in North Manchester.

Clark attended Parsons College in Iowa after graduating from North High School in Columbus, Ohio, in 1963. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1967-1969 aboard the Coral Sea, receiving the Vietnam service medal with three bronze stars, national defense service medal, Republic of Vietnam campaign medal and Navy unit commendation medal.

Clark returned to live in the family cottage at Chapman Lake, Warsaw. He worked at RR Donnelley for 38 years before retiring in 2007. He married Donna Miller in 1971, they will be celebrating their 44th anniversary in June. They have three children: April (Ed) Gibson, Aaron (Julia) Clark and Alex (Liz) Clark. They also have five grandchildren.
