Harriet Mae Coy of Winona Lake, passed away at 9:45 p.m. on Monday, May 18, 2015, at her residence at the age of 91.

She was born on May 21, 1923 in Atwood, to Clarence F. Hoffer and Lillie M. (Sensibaugh) Hoffer. She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, where she attended Atwood High School. In 1953, she married Sherman Coy, Jr. and they lived in Warsaw, until their divorce in 1976. Harriet was last employed at Warsaw Coil where she retired in 1986. She enjoyed gardening, reading, NASCAR racing, but she especially enjoyed her family.

She will lovingly be remembered by her son: Carl Coy, Winona Lake; two daughters: Sandra England, Winona Lake; Mildred Burchett, Peru; and six grandchildren: Carl Coy Jr.; Teresa Bubb; Shonda Burchett; Amy Burchett; Jason Hopkins; and Elizabeth Swick. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Her funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 22, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw. There will be visitation an hour prior to the funeral service from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Burial will follow with a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
