No cause has been determined yet in a fire that destroyed a mobile home in the Etna Green Mobile Home Park, 210 S. Main St., Friday evening.

Etna Green Fire Chief Eric Wagoner reported it is known the fire started in the living room, however, no specific reason has yet to be found. No one was home when the fire broke out.

Wagoner stated some valuable and memorable items from the home were salvaged such as three to four guitars still in cases and a large record collection in the back of the mobile home.

The American Red Cross, Kosciusko County Chapter, assisted the unnamed occupants of the home.

Firefighters were called to the scene at 5:50 p.m. and remained at the home until 11 p.m.

Etna Green Fire Department was assisted by Atwood Fire Department.
