Mary B. Kauke
Mary B. Kauke, 93, of Milford, formerly of North Webster, and Chicago, Ill., passed away at 10:35 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2015, at Lakeland Health Care and Rehab in Milford.
She was born on July 4, 1921, in Indianapolis to George & Henrietta (Husser) Selig.
She attended public schools in Chicago and was married on Jan. 2, 1943, in Vancouver, Wa., to William George Kauke. She retired as a retail/sales clerk with the Greyhound Post House in Chicago after 17 years of service. She moved to North Webster in 2006 from Chicago.
She is survived by a daughter: Billie (Tom) Lavin, North Webster; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; an infant son: William G. Kauke II, and sister: Ruth Hostler.
Visitation will be from noon to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 13 at Owen Family Funeral Home, SR 13 and CR 500N, North Webster. Memorial services will follow at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home with Pastor Myron Drent of the Country Bible Church in North Webster officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County in Warsaw.
Memorial bequest may be given to the Wawasee Camp of Gideon’s International, P.O. Box 101, Syracuse, IN 46567. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
