Rebecca D. Turner, age 55, formerly of Bremen and Nappanee, died unexpectedly of natural causes, at 8:55 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2015, at her residence in Kokomo. She was born Aug. 11, 1959, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Rex and Mattie (Fuggate) Back.

Rebecca was a 1978 graduate of Bremen High School. She had worked at K Mart in Kokomo. She had also worked at a Nursing Home in Monticello for several years.

Surviving are her children: Helen K. Hardin, Elkhart; Joseph Rex Hardin, Nappanee; Charity (Jake) Melton, Kokomo; Williard (Miranda) Turner, Sommerset, Ky.; grandchildren: Avery McFarland; Gabriel Turner; Alexander Turner; mother: Mattie Back, Winamac; and sisters: Francine Morgan, Winamac; Dana (Steve) Prall, Cincinnati, Ohio; and Lisa (Tim) Wiegand, Star City. She was preceded in death by her father.

\Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, at Thompson-Lengacher and Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Burial will be in South Union Cemetery.
