Mari Leckrone
Mari Leckrone, 47, of Akron, Ind., passed away at 10:45 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, at her residence.
She was born on June 10, 1965, in Warsaw, Ind., to the late Thomas R. Miller and Marietta (Whitehead) Miller, who survives. On Oct. 20, 1984, she was married to David L. Leckrone, who survives.
She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Ind., where she attended Warsaw Community Church. Mari was a 1983 graduate of Warsaw High School, and worked for 20 years in the Accounting Department at Dalton Foundries of Warsaw. She loved to donate to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband: David Leckrone, Akron, Ind.; one daughter: Beth (Jarrod) Phillips, Auburn, Ind.; one son: Derek Leckrone, Akron, Ind.; two grandsons: Austin and Alex; her mother: Marietta Miller, Claypool, Ind.; three sisters: Deb (Joel) Braunstein, Casa Grande, Ariz.; Kathy (Bing) Johnston, Claypool, Ind.; Marcia (Doug) VanLue, Lexington, Ky.; and her brother: Tom (Kay) Miller, Warsaw.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw. Her funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
