Patria Molebash
Patria J. Molebash, 89, Warsaw, passed away at 1:32 p.m. Monday, June 29, 2015, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw. She was born on April 12, 1926, to Ervin and Florence (Wright) Dock, in Warsaw.
On April 9, 1948, she was united in marriage to Paul E. Molebash, who preceded her in death on Feb. 22, 2000. She and her husband Paul owned and operated Paul’s Sandwich Shop, in Warsaw, for 28 years. After the restaurant, she worked for Helvey and Associates.
Pat was an active member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church serving several years as chairman of the administrative council and United Methodist Women and she was active in OES 88 of the Eastern Star, Warsaw, where she served as Worthy Matron and as District Deputy. She also served as president of the Silver Fox Association.
She is survived by her son: Jim (Dagmar) Molebash, Warsaw; daughter: Jane Eaton and John Garber, Warsaw. She is preceded in death by two sisters: Hope Berlin; and Martha Thomas; and two brothers: Lowell and Robert Dock.
Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. and from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, July 6, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, at Otterbein United Methodist Church, Atwood. Pastor James Lawson will officiate. Burial will be at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery.
The family is requesting that contributions be made to Otterbein United Methodist Church, Atwood or Anthony Wayne Area Council, Boy Scouts of America, Fort Wayne.
