Sprint Cars, Tractors Entertain At Fair
WARSAW – Sprint cars and tractor games drew audiences Wednesday evening during the Kosciusko County Fair.
This was the first time in 25 years that sprint car racing has been a part of the grandstand action. Dirt flew as competitors raced for nearly four hours.
Divisions included juniors, 600cc non-wing and 600cc wing versions. Drivers began with hot laps to warm up, with qualifying at 7:30. Finals followed.
Meanwhile in the antiques area, audience members laughed as competitors played it up in a variety of events like egg racing, musical chairs and barrel rolling. During one event, participants had to run three laps around their tractors, then get on, start them and race across the finish line.
