Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo Named Among Top Ten In Country
The Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo has been named among the best in the country in a ranking from the travel website and accommodation reviewer TripAdvisor.
The popular San Diego Zoo was listed as the top zoo in the United States. Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo came in at number seven.
TripAdvisor compiled the rankings based on millions of reviews and opinions from travelers, using the quality and quantity of reviews over a one year period, according to the company.
Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo is celebrating its 50th year this summer.
The top ten travelers’ choice zoos in America were:
- San Diego Zoo – San Diego, California
- Henry Doorly Zoo – Omaha, Nebraska
- St. Louis Zoo – St. Louis, Missouri
- Zoological Wildlife Foundation – Miami, Florida
- Cape May County Park and Zoo – Cape May, New Jersey
- Cheyenne Mountain Zoo – Colorado Springs, Colorado
- Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo – Fort Wayne, Indiana
- Memphis Zoo – Memphis, Tennessee
- Zoo Miami – Miami, Florida
- San Diego Zoo Safari Park – Escondido, California
