New Brown County Tourism App Helps Visitors Find Fun
NASHVILLE, IN — The Brown County Convention and Visitors Bureau has announced the launch of a new mobile app called “Discover Brown County.” It is the official handheld, mobile guide for visitors to navigate the county’s tourism attractions.
Visitors who download the app will be able to access information on shops, restaurants, lodging and area attractions, as well as make reservations or call to ask questions with a click-to-call feature. Maps and easy to follow directions will help visitors locate parking, restrooms and tourism destinations conveniently.
“Not only does the Discover Brown County app show you what there is in Brown county, it uses your phone’s location services to find out what’s closest to where you’re currently at,” said Brooke Weichselfelder, Brown County CVB digital marketing coordinator. “Whatever you’re looking for in Brown county, whether it’s where to go hiking, where to see a live show, where to find the closest beverage or even a local events calendar, you can find it on this app.”
The Discover Brown County app is free and can be downloaded on both Apple and Android mobile devices.
