Enjoy The Family Carnival This Friday

WARSAW — The city of Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department is proud to present the Family Carnival, an event for the entire family, from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Friday Aug. 7, in Central Park. Enjoy children’s entertainment, games, activities, face painting, a dunk tank and more! Also, sign-up the kids for the Penguin Point’s Big Wheel Race that will be held in conjunction with the Carnival.
Registration for the 35th Annual Big Wheel Championship is from 5:45 – 6:45 p.m. at Central Park. The race will start at 7 p.m. sharp. Big Wheels are provided. Two age divisions this year are: Division 1 for 4- and 5-year-olds, and Division 2, for 6-and 7-year-olds. Pick up an entry form at the Warsaw Parks Department office or Penguin Point until Wednesday, Aug. 5.
Tickets for the Family Carnival are 25 cents each, while punch cards are $5 each (which equals 20 tickets). Family Carnival tickets will be sold at the West Picnic Shelter in Central Park. Central Park is located at 225. E. Fort Wayne St., Warsaw.
