KENDALLVILLE – The Wawasee Middle School 8th grade football team started its season on the wrong foot Monday evening. The Warriors lost to East Noble 28-20 despite three scores from Jesse Landeros. Gabe Moore and Ethan Hardy both scored conversions for Wawasee while Evan Gregory was big on special teams for the Warriors as he recovered an onside kick.

Wawasee (0-1) will host Elkhart Eastside Tuesday evening at 5 p.m.
