High Visibility Enforcement Zone In Effect Friday

ELKHART — The Elkhart County Traffic Safety Partnership will conduct a high-visibility enforcement zone between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4,on the southwest side of Elkhart. Officers participating in this event will use high-visibility efforts to detect and arrest impaired drivers by using methods such as high-visibility enforcement zone, saturated patrols and other methods to detect and deter impaired drivers. The Elkhart County Traffic Safety Partnership encourages everyone to not drink and drive but to use a designated driver.
The Elkhart County Traffic Safety Partnership is made up of officers from the city of Elkhart, the city of Goshen, Nappanee, Wakarusa, Bristol and Millersburg Police Departments and the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department.
