‘United On The Porsche’ First Friday Tonight
WARSAW — Downtown Warsaw is preparing for another fun filled, albeit it very hot, first Friday. September’s event, titled “United on the Porsche,” will offer guests a variety of entertainment for all ages this evening, Friday, Sept. 4.
As usual, first Friday will be held from 5-9 p.m. in downtown Warsaw. The event will welcome the Michiana Porsche Club, who will roll in approximately 60 vehicles for a car show. Another, less traditional vehicle will also make an appearance at the event — the Maple Leaf “Duckmobile.”
Tunes will be provided at the center stage from 6-9 p.m. by Band United. Dancers from Deb Collier’s School of Dance will take the stage from 7:30-8 p.m. Pickle-ball demonstrations will also be held throughout the evening.
Vendors will be placed on the courthouse lawn for guests to peruse after walking through downtown streets lined with porches.
For those looking to find a good read, first Friday has you covered. A free book give away will be offered by Manchester University. The give away will offer numerous books for all ages including children’s books, young adult and adult literature.
September’s First Friday is sponsored by the City of Warsaw and the Dane & Mary Louise Miller Foundation.
